Yodha
Rating: 2.5 Star ⭐️⭐️.5
Worthy Action but too many unnecessary twists to handle along the lousy screenplay
Movie starts off and transits ahead well till the interval point and post that it fails to hold the attention of the audience , film’s runtime is just 2h 13 mins odd but it feels stretched and is plain predictable , there are many logical loopholes in the story , too many twists randomly coming up which kind of doesn’t convince along the storyline . Siddharth Malhotra excels in the film in every way may it be action , emotion or his screen presence, Raashii Khanna had very little to do and she was great , Good to see Ritika Bharadwaj on big screen & she was decent, Disha Patani was okish , Sunny Hindhuja is an amazing actor but didn’t have anything much to do in a negative space , rest follows the ensemble cast who have been normal . Screenplay is a big letdown of the movie , film had a great potential but ultimately writing wasn’t up to the mark . Climax was over the board and very illogical but did have an emotional touch and iconic dialogue from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai recreated . All and all for a film like Yodha the flavour of patriotism was there but not soo impactful , Dialogues weren’t that great , BGM could have been better , Overall its not completely a bad film , its an average movie , watch it if you have time or wait for the OTT release on Amazon Prime #YoReviewSunnyKSaath #Yodha
