Baahubali 2 -The Conclusion
WORTH WATCH despite having a USUAL STORYLINE 3.5 Star
Best in class VFX for a Indian cinema till date with richest of the visuals, Grand sets and magnificent cinematography stitched well with Rajamouli Sir Narrative which is crisp , engaging and thrilling. The entry sequence of Bahubali is the best built scene i have seen in the recent times ,what falls short is absence of fresh story for a magnum opus with a budget of 2.5 billion , the story is just a usual family drama and is completely predictable, the world of Bahubali you entered with the first part comes down to a usual genre by the end . The War sequences and the techniques used need a bow as they are amazing to the level you would feel goosebumps at few sequences . So with a lot on action front and excellent CGI with epic performances by lead pairs this one stands out as a worth watch at cinemas. Well dont ask me why Kattappa Killed Bahubali as there are no spoilers in this review.
STORY & SCREENPLAY
The story as i said is not a fresh story its a usual family drama which is quite predictable and feels a bit out of sync for a magnum opus like baahubali , the screenplay is very well written hats off to SS RAJAMOULI Sir for such a crisp narration the way story transits makes you feel wooow such is the narration and transit of the story, the story is packed with powerful action sequences ,the build up for every character is larger than life , the climax is a bit disappointing when you expect it to happen in a larger way , but over all the screenplay wins in keeping you gripped . The Story continues from where Kattappa is explaining every event and happening during the time of Mahendra Bahubalis father Amrendra Bahubali he tells him about his love life , and how things went on and all about the kingdom and about Bhalla Deva and their conspiracy and things go on and we come at a point where its revealed why kattappa killed bahubali? and thats where the narration of kattappa ends and we get to see the next move of Mahendra Bahubali , Now what is his move? Why did Kattappa Kill Bahubali? What is the final outcome ? And the rest of the questions that are popping up in your mind will be answered and unveiled when you walk in to the nearest cinema halls and watch this movie this weekend.
PERFOMANCES
Prabhas is the soul of the film he has done his job to the best he is completely into the character and looks massively strong and rigid and the sequences where he breaks down or shows extreme aggression just blows you high on adrenaline ,coming to Rana Dagubatti he has been deadly and extremely wild in the climax where he over powers bahubali for a while with his amazing acting skills , Anushka Shetty As devasena was also superb ,Ramya Krishnan as shivgami was epic and not to forget Satyaraj as kattappa makes u laugh , cry aas he is there all throught in every frame and he has done justice to his role as well . Rest follows the ensamble cast. Prabhas V/S Rana is really something to look for seriously
FINAL VERDICT
Its definetly a worth watch at cinemas for the fact that it has the power to drive you throughout the runtime with a few amazing moments from action to beautiful and exotic locales to crisp narration . For more visit http://yoviews.com
