STORY & SCREENPLAY

The screenplay goes in flow delivering lot of punches , twists and takes on to keep you engaged the story takes you from bit to byte and byte to frames and emotions play an vital role in keeping the audience in feel for the movie and the director has suceeded i getting the best out of all these as a combination . Background score is seriously to the par gets every scene to be outstanding . The story is about a man who stays aloof in memories of his dead wife , he is presumed to be an gangster , he owns a PAWN shop and in this verge he happens to meet a little 7 year old gal who is the daughter of his neighbour , she loves to talk to him calls him handsome and meets him everyday because she is sad and alone in her own life her mom dosent take care of her , she trusts rocky played by john abraham , one fine day some gangsters/ drug mafia kidnap this little girl and her mother for some reason , rocky does everything to get the little girl back becuase he seems to have a soft corner for this little girl and for her inocence  , he gets in complete from as her protector to get her back and he fights lone with the drug mafia , Now QUestions that strike you are Who is rocky Handsome?? What is his past? how does he have the power fight all alone with this drug mafia?? does he suceed to get the little girl back and save her? What about the police? all these questions will be answered whn you watch the film at the nearest cinema halls

PERFOMANCES

John abraham has nailed it this time with his power packed action avatar and he has done his best to get the character right and his rugged looks get him more dark and deep into his character . The little girl in the film  has been sweet ad cute all throughout . The director himself is seen playimg one of the mafia gangster in the film ie kevin and he has been outstanding in the negative role . Fially shruthi hassan in the emotional apperanace didnt have much to do she is just seen in a few sequences

FINAL VERDICT

Its a must watch it has every stuff to prove it to be WORTH watch staring from amazing action to super awesome punches to heart touching emotion it has it all and i done find any reasons to miss this one . Go have ur dose of action from Jhon abraham :)

Amazing first half with entertainment , emotion and fun as main ingredient but a dyfunctional second half which gets too much mellow dramatic that you cant take it anymore but on a serious note its a perfect reciepe for a family drama with lot of sentiments attached . Watch it if you keep love for FAMILY DRAMA .

Screenplay goes crispy in the first half delivering every ingredient in equal proportion and entertaining you with comic sequences , cute moments , fun moments and emotion as well the pace is also well in form as its suppose to be but only flaw being a too much over dramatic or emotional second half which actually goes as predicted but then family drama as a genre it evolves to be something different then the usual. The Story is about a dyfunctional family where relations are messed up and go on getting worse day by day , each family member is seen betraying the other in some or the other way and amidst all these drama is a jolly person who dreams to get the family together and have a family photograph and title it KAPOOR & SONS and he is rishi kapoor who is seen in a complete different avatar, Now how well does hesuceed in getting the family together ? do they really unite? Does the dream of taking a family foto really come true with all heart? And all the other questions will be answered when you watch the movie in the nearest cinema halls.

PERFOMANCES

The ultimate show stealer is the jolly and yet young at heart but old at age RISHI KAPOOR who has played a perfect character of the head of family and he has done more than just justice to his role , he makes u cry , he makes you laugh , he keeps u engaged . Coming to Fawad Khan and Siddharth Malothra as brothers both have done equal justice to their roles though Fawad khan stand outs because of his charm , Finally Alia bhatt has been cute and sweet as usual and she really knows what expressions are and she has done her part well .

FINAL VERDICT

Its a ONE TIME WATCH ...Not Too good Not TOO Bad . You can watch it with your family as its a kind of unique family entertainer . The strong cast give it yet another reason to consider watching this movie .

AMONG ALL THE HIMESH FILMS TILL NOW THIS ONE IS WATCHABLE FOR ONE TIME.. NOT TOO GOOD NOT TOO BAD.
Excellent editing ,Impressive Transition effects, Exotic shooting locations and cool cinematography favours the movie positively , but weak script and not at all convincing acting fails to make it a worth watch at theatres , and slow narration will probably bore you in your complete watch .RESPECT Himeshs effort of working on his physique but sad that his acting has not been convincing at all with a 1 constant expression from the start to the end.

The screenplay is quite lousy which gets the narration of the movie very slow which quite till the interval bores the audience but later after the first half few happening things get the audience live  and then a lot of extra hope and expection is set but then finally the cimax comes out to be non impactful leaving the audience dissappointed . The story is about a guy who is seen living a dual life one of a gangster which he shows people that he is but deep inside he is a undercover police who reports to the commisioner, his lady love breaks up with him couple of days before their marriage which leaves him sad for days she leaves him and goes far away , then over a visit to ireland she is trapped into a DRUG mafia case for which she gets stringent punishment of 7 years to to her rescue comes himesh who takes various methods first of which is a legal method which fails then he tries to meet a man who flew 12 jails accross geographies , Then he tries to trace out this mysterious man who is trying to play with his gfs life and with his life but the mystery continues we never get to face this villan who is playing a perfect game , WHo is he? why did he trap his gf in this drug mafia case? what is his motive? and does himesh suceed in getting his lady love out of the jail ? Finally Does he choose to get her out ilelegally? and all such questions will be answered when u walk in to the nearest cinema halls and watch this movie this weekend

PERFOMANCES

As earlier mention Himesh has worked hard to get the best and we should respect his effort and he has also worked on his physique , but coming to acting he has not at all been able to convince the audience either by his dialouge dilevery or experssions . The whole film gets u a realiziation that he has worked on only 1 expression .Naseruddin shah has done a great job . Rest of the cast didnt have much to do .

FINAL VERDICT

Its not too bad its not too good its average going can be watched once and as i mentioned it will come as a surprise as its Himeshs best movie in comparison to his previous movies . Watch it for timepass this weekend

ITS not a usual movie ITS A NOVELTY CINEMA
GET INSPIRED TO NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS NO MATTER WHAT 😊  a beautifully written script which is executed flawlessly with a unique narrative n a perfect cast deployed to convey this in a convincing manner synced with perfect background score. What gets the stars down for this film is messy editing .

STORY & SCREENPLAY
The screenplay goes crisp smooth convincing you at every bit with is unique way of story  telling and keeps the audience engaged in the story and the way things are matched up using real life examples is just commendable . The story is about a guy who comes from a mediocre background where in he is shown engaged with his father at temple for singing soothing  devotional / meaningful songs this gets in him a kind of interest and love from within for  music but then something somewhere somehow he is supressed by a fear 😱. A deep fear and sorrow of something which gets him go away from music though he is a good singer he suppresses himself from exploring it . He chooses to do something else in his life and he succeeds in doing it and ie joining the business tycoon so called the lion of Punjab gurucharan sikand and winning his heart ♥ he succeeds but no sooner he realises that he was being just used as a object by gurucharan  to fulfil his own selfish needs   on the other end amidst his work with guruvharan he  meets amira a music enthusiast who performs at various shows and is shown in a modern independent and happy go lucky avatar , they both get closer ,amora suggests him to listen to his heart, his voice and follow his dream of being in the field of music but for that fact that he has a dark past playing right in front of him.he denies to listen to his heart but then as he realises that guru charan had just used him and though he had achieved all that he had planed for he seems unhappy in his life because he has bot achieved his actual dream. So what is that gurucharan has used him for ? How does he retaliate? Does he realize his dream and work for it? Or he comtinues to do what he has convinced himself to do ? And does he  get back to amira ? For all these questions to be answered watch the movie at ur nearest cinema halls

PERFOMANCES

Vicky kaushal the masaan actor has done par to par justice to his role with his amazing acting skills he will not leave u disappointed he will completely convince u in every possible way as he is to his natural . Sara Jane Dias has also done well in her role as a modern cool girl and I should say no1 could do it better than her it was amazing to see her back again in a role like this . Rest on part Manish Chaudhari who has played gurucharan has also been convincing with his performance all throughout the movie in this stiff and tough avatar .

FINAL VERDICT

Its not a usual movie its a novelty cinema support movies like this to excel at business level as well . This movie will inspire you to follow ur dreams its a worth watch at theatres . I give it a YO! GURANTEE.

There are a few convincing moments but FILM IS TOO MUCH OVERSTRETCHED TO B  HANDLED BEING PREDICTABLE ,performances take an edge over and the BEST PART IS DIRECTOR HIMSELF AS  A CORRUPT POLICE OFFICER STEALS THE SHOW. AN INSPIRATION TO THE LADIES as women power stands out ubdefeated if you stand by your decision.😋  but then what fails is bad makeover , pathetic background score and no so impactful punches in the film fail to work wonders for the flick. Total justice for screen space where  every small character in this film is given big space. Over and all its just a normal predictable story with a predictable plot cooked up for 2.5 hours finally getting you exactly what you predict and is strictly a one time watch .

The screenplay seems to be written with mixed feelings as things go on happening over and again to prove a particular point which the audience has already realised , as audience we v well know what would be the end still the story is  overstretched and over dragged to its heights which make it not soo cinematic watch. The dialouges dont Create any punch hence failing to create any impact and then out of the track backgroundscore where song plays out loud during action sequences definetly dissappoints . The story is about a village which is ruled by a few cruel and corrupt politicians who come down to any  level to harress people or even kill them with ease for their selfish needs amidst this cines a fearless cop played by priyanka Chopra who takes over as the SP who takes an oath to clear all this and protect the people and help people retain trust on police . But then she faces extreme pressure , abuse and also life threatening experience but she stands out tall and faces the rigid of rigid moments Finally does she suceed in exposing these cruel infact criminal politicians , do the people of village and the people who have lost their son,father or sister get justice ? Or as usual the system wins ? Are all the questions that will be answered when u watch this movie in the nearest Cinema halls

Biggest surprise comes our way to see Prakash jha himself playing role of a corrupt police officer with a hidden conscience which
Awakens sum where sumhow and coming to his acting he has done a great job and doesn't seem like its his first movie where he has been acting because he has done it with ease . Coming to priyanka Chopra as the powerful fearless cop she has also been as convincing as her role demanded but what haseng worked on her favour is the makeover which actually distorts her role in someway . Coming to the rest of the cast in the negative role  have been impressive and then follows the ensemble cast who has done a great job
FINAL VERDICT
Its purely  a one time watch ,it not too good not too bad it has parts where we get convinced.it has parts which doesn't convince so over all I say can be watched once . Rest follows the Prakash jha style . Watch out for the movie if you are okie with a regular story cooked up for 2.5 hours finally delivering you what you had predicted . THIS WILL GRAB EYEBALLS OF ASPIRING BOLLYWOOD ARTISTS TO AN EXTENT BUT FAILS TO CREATE AN IMPACT.  😞  The movie Is dedicated to all the people who struggle to achieve their dreams despite of all the hurdles 😈  Nice theme but execution goes flat and directionless creating no impact and the pace of the movie and they way its narrated get the audience off the track as they start feeling bored within no time and it gets over dragged . A movie to be skipped this week
STORY & SCREENPLAY
The screenplay seems very hopeful and interesting as it  kicks off but no sooner the film looses its instinct and the motive and gets into a traumatic mode where you feel what's happening  and it goes on and on till the end . The characters are designed well but even the characters deviate from the real self making it a lot of mellow dramatic . The story is about 3 aspiring actors one Is a young guy who works at a call centre , other is a prostitute and then we have a person of age 50 who takes volunteer retirement to achieve his dream. The young guy searches for every possible chance to showcase his talent, he attends every audition though he doesn't convince he tries to show his passion either by hurting himself or putting himself in danger , on the other hand is the 50 year man takes voluntary retirement  to achieve his dreams which he couldn't live for years because of his family commitment and coming to the girl she keeps finding for a man who is from.mumbai to give her dream a kick start and finally meets one. Finally what happens ? Do they achive their dreams of being a star? Or they get dissolved in the hurdle of life or challanges ? Do they give up? Or they stand tall ? Or do they ruin their lives ? For all these answers watch the movie 🎬
FINAL VERDICT
Its a movie to skip as it actually doesn't inspire you it just shows u the struggle of these 3 people with v poor execution which Is more of over dragged mellow drama  and slow paced narration which doesn't keep you connected with the film . So its not a  recommended watch
